The Kenmore-Bothell Seaplane Firebirds won first place in the Northshore Girls Slowpitch Softball Association (NGSSA) Tournament — second/third-grade minors division — May 4-5 at Northcreek Sports Fields. They played four games on Saturday and two more games on Sunday with the final against their rival, Daddy’s Donuts Mustangs. They gave the first-place trophy to their team sponsor, Seaplane Kitchen and Bar.
