The Bothell High School girls soccer team lost to Meadowdale Thursday, 3-1, thanks to a slow second half on defense at Meadowdale High School.

The Cougars fell behind 1-0 but Meghan Tveit brought the team back with an unassisted goal just before halftime.

But Bothell could not keep up with home team, as they scored two second-half goals to put the game out of reach.
