A slow start cost the Bothell High School boys basketball team against Issaquah Tuesday, losing 56-49 in Issaquah.

The Cougars scored just seven points during the first quarter and fell behind by nine entering the third quarter. The Eagles extended the advantage to 12 points during the third. Bothell’s run during the final eight minutes nearly cut the lead in half but it wasn’t enough.

The Cougars were led by Cameron Tyson with 17 points and Hunter Dean with 10 points.
