Northwest Watercolor Society to display artwork in 25th annual waterworks exhibition

The Northwest Watercolor Society’s 25th annual Waterworks Membership Exhibition showcases 50 paintings from Oct. 24 – Nov. 22 at Tsuga Fine Art & Framing, 1010 Main Street, Bothell, WA 98011.

The accepted members range from coast to coast, the mid-West, Canada and Australia.

Iain Stewart, juror and instructor for this year’s Waterworks, found it “happily, quite difficult” to pick only 50 out of the 150 entrants who submitted works.

“The number and quality of the paintings put forward for my review was impressive,” Stewart said in a press release. “This is a spectacular exhibition and one that does credit to the society and the artists’ hard work and perseverance.”

Awards will be presented Oct. 26 at Tsuga from 6-8 p.m. The public and media are invited.

The top awards are 1st place $1,000, 2nd place $750 and 3rd $500.
