Bothell detectives are investigating the suspicious death of an unidentified person they found in a Bothell home during a welfare check Tuesday morning.

The Bothell Police Department responded to a house in the 200th block of 240th St. Southwest, in Snohomish County, at approximately 10:30 a.m. to conduct a welfare check.

“She had not showed up to her workplace as expected,” said Bothell  police Capt. Denise Langford.

Upon arrival, officers found one deceased person inside the home.

Detectives are investigating it as a suspicious death, said Langford.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's office is examining the body to determine the person's identity, said Bothell Sgt. Cedric Collins.

The police have also closed off a couple of blocks to traffic on 240th St. Southwest.
