Bothell to host Main Street Fire Commemoration event

The City of Bothell and the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce are partnering to hold an event to commemorate the first anniversary of the Main Street fire.

First responders, Main Street business owners, city officials and city staff will all be in attendance, and a multimedia project created by University of Washington Bothell students on the impact of the fire will be featured during the event.

The commemoration event will be held from 4-8 p.m. July 22 in downtown Bothell (the exact location is yet to be determined). The event is free, and food will be available to purchase.

In addition to the UW Bothell project, food trucks and a wine/beer garden, the event will also feature live music, a fire truck and activities for kids.

The event is meant to both commemorate the fire and draw people to businesses Main Street, which is currently undergoing reconstruction.
