Early election returns have Srebnik leading in Kenmore council race

Early returns for the primary election came in around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and show Debra Srebnik in the lead for the City of Kenmore council Pos. 6.

According to King County Elections Srebnik has 52.52 percent, or 1,356 votes. Carol Baker has 24.67 percent, or 637. Bob Black received 0.43 percent, or 11 votes.

Voter turnout was at 17.99 percent, with 2,692 ballots counted out of a total of 14,966 registered voters, according to King County Elections.
