Humana promotes intermountain provider contracting efforts

The effort will be led by Mark K. Bryan who was promoted to regional vice president.

Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), one of the nation’s leading health and well-being companies, announced it has promoted Mark K. Bryan to Regional Vice President, Provider Experience for the Intermountain Region.

Bryan will be responsible for Humana’s Commercial and Medicare provider networks in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. In this role, he will be responsible for building relationships with health care leaders and executives to further improve health outcomes and create better health care experiences.

Bryan joined Humana in 2015 as the Finance Director for the Intermountain Region where he managed the financial performance of the region and assisted with developing the strategic direction for the company’s health plan design in the four-state region. He has 17 years of health care experience with an expertise in financial operations on the Medicare and Medicaid side.

Prior to joining Humana, Bryan worked for Community Health Plan of Washington as the Director, Financial Reporting.

Bryan holds a master’s of business administration from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, and a bachelor’s of business administration from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

He lives in Seattle and will work out of Humana’s Federal Way, Washington; Sandy, Utah; Vancouver, Washington; and Boise office.
