Bothell boys take first at league track and field meet

Bothell’s boys track and field team placed first at the 4A KingCo meet.

Winners were Dane Siegelman (200 meters, 22.53), Da’Vicious Wilson (110 hurdles, 15.37; long jump, 23-05.25; and triple jump, 47.02), Matthew Howard (300 hurdles, 40.15), 4×400 relay (Ryder Locknane, Brandon Simmons, Tyler Schenck and Howard, 3:24.58), Dylan Singh (javelin, 169-06) and Jace Boileau (high jump, 6-02).

Wilson nailed PRs in both jumps and leads the 4A state standings in both events. He’s first in state in all classifications in the triple jump and third overall in the long jump.

It is Boileau’s first year competing in the high jump after formerly throwing the javelin.

Also on the boys’ side, North Creek’s Logan Milandin won the 400 meters in 51.14.

For the girls, Bothell’s Lauren Stavig won the 100 meters in 12.65; for Inglemoor, Julianne Barker won the 110 hurdles in 15.93 and Kim Kramers won the pole vault in 12-0.

In the girls team standings, Bothell took fourth and Inglemoor placed fifth.
