Players and coaches from the Bothell High School girls basketball team helped bag 9,080 pounds of potatoes the morning of Saturday, Jan. 5 as a part of the team’s Day of Service for the community.
The event took place at the Food Lifeline Re-Pack Center in Shoreline.
Nine very large bins of potatoes were bagged into family size portions, then weighed, boxed and stacked in preparation for distribution to local food banks.
