Much-needed trail repairs and resurfacing along a short portion of King County Parks’ Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville will require a brief overnight closure.

Beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the trail will be closed at the Northeast 175th Street underpass, just north of Woodinville’s Wilmot Gateway Park. Crews will work throughout the night, and repairs are expected to be completed by 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Because the work will be performed overnight and outside of trail use hours, there will be no detour or access permitted through the work zone.

The Sammamish River Trail is one of King County Parks’ most-popular trails. At 10.9 miles in length, the trail connects the Burke-Gilman Trail through Kenmore and Bothell with King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond.
