Winter soup seminar to be held at Bastyr

Chilly winter days call for satisfying soups the whole family will love.

Dietitian and Bastyr faculty member Kelly Morrow is hosting a seminar on how to cook different soups at Molbak’s Garden and Home Jan. 4.

Hearty and Heart-warming Winter Soups will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Morrow is also a clinical supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

She will share her knowledge on creating nutrient-packed, vitamin-rich soups using seasonal, local ingredients. Soups will be vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free.

Recipes will be provided. Molbak’s Garden and Home is located at 13625 NE 175th St. in Woodinville.
