Two home runs lift Bothell past Skyline | Prep softball

The Bothell High School softball team won via mercy rule against Skyline, 13-3, on Wednesday in Bothell.
The Cougars scored multiple runs in every inning and were led on offense by Alex Farmer, who was 2-for-4 with five RBI and a home run. Megan Powers finished 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Bothell teammates Hannah Tyndall and Megan Morino finished with two RBI each. Tyndall was 4-for-4 at the plate, while Morino blasted a home run.
Janell Martin earned the win by pitching a complete game, giving up just one earned run and striking out five batters.
Bothell will play at 4 p.m. on Monday at Eastlake High School.
