Monson one-hitter turns into loss for Bothell | Prep baseball

Bothell High School pitcher Ryan Monson threw a complete game one-hitter on Monday but it wasn’t enough as Newport’s only hit contributed to the only run in the game. The Cougars lost 1-0.

Monson had four strikeouts and two walks during the game.
