Bothell falls to Newport in four games | Prep volleyball

The Bothell High School volleyball team lost to Newport, 3-1, on Monday in Bellevue.

The Cougars were led by Alexa Torres with 17 kills but it wasn’t enough as the Knights won 25-21, 22-25, 25-18 and 25-14.

Lizzy Shrum finished with 49 assists, while Shala Prouty had 21 digs for Bothell.
