Bothell beats Newport, 46 for Medjo and Tyson | Prep boys basketball

The Bothell High School boys basketball team defeated Newport, 73-62, on Friday at home.

The two teams were tied 26-26 at halftime but the Cougars got out ahead in the third and stayed ahead by scoring 47 second-half points.

Jame Medjo and Cameron Tyson each scored 23 points for the Cougars and teammate Josh Kollman had 17 points. Only two other players scored for Bothell.
