Cedar Park loses to Sultan despite 32 from Sheffey and Reidy | Prep boys basketball

The Cedar Park Christian high school boys basketball team lost at Sultan High School, 72-61, on Friday.

Sultan jumped out to a 16-8 lead during the first quarter but Cedar Park kept pace, heading into the locker room down just 32-26. The second half was higher scoring as both teams combined for 75 points but Sultan stayed just out in front.

George Reidy led the Eagles with 18 points and Jaden Sheffey scored 14.

Cedar Park will play next at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at home.
