Bothell finishes third at district meet, Sitzmann fifth overall | Prep gymnastics

The Bothell High School gymnastics team finished third overall with a score of 169.4 during the 4A Sea-King district meet on Saturday at Skyline High School. Woodinville captured the district title with a score of 185.325.

Senior Jade Sitzmann was the Cougars top finisher, placing fifth overall in the all-around competition with a score of 36.725.

Stizmann’s best finish was on bars where she placed fifth overall with a score of 9.125. She tied for sixth on on vault with a score of 9.25 and placed eighth on both floor (9.35) and beam (9.0).
