Bothell faces Kentlake during the first round of the state tournament | Prep girls basketball

The Bothell High School girls basketball team will face Kentlake at 9 a.m. tomorrow during the first round of the state tournament at the Tacoma Dome.
Bothell has a record of 23-1 this season, along with its first 4A KingCo title in nearly two decades. The team’s only loss this season came to Issaquah. The Cougars are led by center Taya Corosdale and guard Keyonna Jones, who both average in double figures in scoring.
Bothell defeated Eastlake , 61-47, on Feb. 18 for the 4A KingCo tournament title. The Cougars then defeated Curtis, 45-37, during a regional play-in game for state last Friday.
Kentlake defeated Kamiak, 42-34, last week to advance to state. The Falcons boast a 23-5 record overall, after finishing 14-1 in league play this season.
