Inglemoor 10-runs Bothell, Shimek blasts home run | Prep softball

The Inglemoor High School softball team defeated Bothell, 10-0, in five innings on Monday.

The Vikings got on the board early with two runs during the second inning. But it was the fifth that did in the Cougars, as Inglemoor scored eight runs.

Tegan McDonald led the Cougars, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Hannah Shimek blasted a home run. Ashley Gregory had two RBI, while teammate Sophie Swain had an RBI.

Mckenzie DeKay settled in for five innings, allowing jst two hits and striking out five batters.
