Bothell softball crushed by Mount Si

The Mount Si High School softball team jumped out to an early lead and easily rolled past Bothell 21-6 during a KingCo league win on Monday in Bothell.

Mount Si (4-5 overall, 1-4) scored four runs during the top of the first inning, including a three-run homer from Jamie Trotto. The Cougars trailed 9-0 before getting on the board with three runs during the bottom of the third inning.

Bothell (3-6, 1-5) garnered three hits and three RBI from Megan Marino, and RBI from Leah Sailer and Brooke Powers.

Next, the Cougars are scheduled to take on Holy Names Academy at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Bothell High School.
