Jack Dellinger went the distance for the Issaquah High baseball team on Monday, April 18, helping the Eagles to a 3-0 KingCo League win over over the Vikings at Inglemoor High School.

Dellinger gave up only four hits, striking out eight batters and allowing one walk.

The Vikings (3-10, 1-9) failed to score for just the second time all season, despite loading the bases in the first inning. Inglemoor benefitted from two errors in the bottom of the first, but had a runner picked off at first base and a strikeout to end the inning.

Inglemoor didn’t garner another hit until the bottom of the fifth, when Sean Mulcare singled to left field. Spencer Radeck doubled to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning, but Dellinger responded with three consecutive strikeouts.

Next, Inglemoor is scheduled to play Mt. Si at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 in Snoqualamie.
