Inglemoor senior named Athlete of the Week by the WIAA

Inglemoor High School senior Nick Laccinole was nominated by a community member and selected by WIAA staff as one of the Athletes of the Week for achievements in track and field.

Laccinole set a new school record in the 1,600-meters at last week’s 60-team Pasco Invitational. He also placed second overall in the elite mile, with a time of 4-minutes, 11.75-seconds.

In recognition of their accomplishment, each Athlete of the Week winner receives a congratulatory letter from WIAA Executive Director, Mike Colbrese, a commemorative WIAA State Athlete of the Week t-shirt, and a certificate. Winners are also posted to the WIAA website at www.wiaa.com
