Despite allowing the Eagles 30 points in the second quarter, the Vikings managed to keep it close at 42-37 heading into halftime, but Issaquah standout Nick Price and his season-high 41 points were too much for the Vikings down the stretch.

For Inglemoor, Chris Bryant (22 points), Travis Bobin (16) and Trey Miller (14) each notched season high point totals as the team fell to 0-5 in 4A Kingco play and 1-6 overall.

 

Viking girls outlasted by Eagles

Playing at home on Tuesday night in a 4A Kingco league game, the Lady Vikings couldn’t make up a five-point fourth quarter deficit in a 61-56 loss to Issaquah.

With the Vikings leading 29-25 at halftime, the Eagles’ offense, led by Monica Landdeck (16 points) scored 20 in the third to take a five-point lead that they would not give up.

Inglemoor’s Kelly Conroy led all scorers with 19, followed by Taylor Peacocke with 17.

With the loss, the Vikings fell to 3-2 in league play and 4-3 overall.

 

Cedar Park girls fall to Cascade Christian

Playing on the road on Tuesday night in a nonleague battle against the tough Cascade Christian Cougars from the 1A Nisqually League, the Lady Eagles were routed 63-37.

The Cougars’ consistent offense, which scored 15 points in three consecutive quarters, was led by Kaycee Creech and her game-high 29 points.

Rachel Staudacher poured in 22 of the Eagles’ 37.

The loss dropped the Eagles to 3-3 overall, but the team still holds a perfect 3-0 record in 1A Emerald City League play.
