The Inglemoor High School softball team scored four seventh-inning runs but it was not enough against Redmond, as the Vikings lost, 8-7, on Monday at Redmond High School.
Inglemoor began the game with a 2-0 lead and stretched it to 3-0 by the end of the top of the fifth. However, a seven run fifth by the Mustangs put the Vikings behind for good.
Inglemoor was led by Lauren Brown, who was 1-for-4 with four RBI, and Ashley Gregory, who was 2-for-4 at the plate.
Bella Montoya finished with four strikeouts in six innings for the Vikings.
Inglemoor will try to get into the win column by facing Lake Stevens at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
