Bothell blasts Newport | Prep girls soccer

The Bothell High School girls soccer team shutout Newport, 4-0, on Tuesday in Bellevue.

The team was led by Madison Hommer and Makenzie Knowles, who each scored two goals during the game. Hommer also collected two assists, while teammate Meghan Tveit also had two assists.

Bothell will next play at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell against Woodinville.
