The Cedar Park Christian volleyball team lost its first match of the season to Life Christian Monday, 3-2, in Tacoma.

The Eagles fell behind with a 25-20 first-game loss but bounced back to win game two 25-19. Game three was tighter but Cedar Park came out on the short end with a loss 25-23.

The Cougars forced the tiebreaker game with a 25-17 victory but ran out o steam during the fifth and final game 15-10.

Abby Snyder and Sam Drechsel combined for 50 assists during the match and Drechsel had 20 kills to lead the team.
