City of Kenmore to host business seminal series

The city of Kenmore will host the Kenmore Business Seminar Series during the summer. Current and potential business people are encouraged to attend free business workshops. Presenters include mentors who are working with Kenmore Business Incubator businesses and program consultant Barry Weisband. All programs begin at 7 p.m. at Kenmore City Hall.

The June 11 workshop titled “A Great Brand is Great for Business” features speaker Troy Turner, founder and president of V2 Works in Kenmore. This session will cover why an effective brand is important research and will offer real world examples and consultation with participants on branding.

Weisband will present a session on Marketing Your Business in late June, date to be determined. Please check the city website for schedule details.

On July 17 and 31, speaker Justin A. Bourn, CPA with Willet, Zevenbergen and Bennett will present on finance and accounting for start-ups. On September 25, speaker Kha Dang, partner in Perkins Coie’s Seattle office will present on legal topics for entrepreneurs.
