Bothell can’t complete comeback against Newport | Prep baseball

The Bothell High School baseball team lost to Newport, 3-2, on Monday.

The Cougars fell behind during the fourth inning, giving up three runs. But Bothell battled back with two runs during the top of the sixth but it wasn’t enough, as the Knights held on for the win.

No further information was reported.

Bothell will try to bounce back as they host Redmond at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
