The Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce proudly announced its Member of the Month as Coral Lehtinen with LZL Construction and Sumner Design during its April meeting.

Lehtinen, and her husband Dennis, have owned LZL Construction for 21 years and joined the Greater Bothell Chamber during its inception in 2004.

“We go way back,” Coral Lehtinen said. “And I’m so pleasantly surprised to receive this award. It’s nice to be acknowledged in this way and know people remember you.”

Lehtinen was recognized for her generous contributions towards the Chamber’s new office in Country Village. Not only did she help plan out the space and pick out the décor, she also rolled up her sleeves, got dirty and painted.

In addition to her positive attitude and willingness to help others, Lehtinen won the award for her ability to patronize and refer so many other members in the Chamber.

“We have a construction company that remodels and constructs quality projects; my husband comes from a long line of builders,” Lehtinen said. “As an interior designer, I work with the design department at LZL Construction and often I’m out looking for materials and furnishings for the home and I find unique items right here in the Bothell business community.”

Dennis, a Bothell High school grad, and Coral chose this community to raise their family and run their business. Coral refers and visits with many of the Bothell businesses she buys from.

“I like to frequent their shops and support the local businesses – shop local is what we do at LZL,” Lehtinen said.

LZL Construction, Inc. is a local leading construction company specializing in both residential and light commercial construction services and is also a member of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.

The Greater Bothell of Commerce is a non-profit, membership-based organization uniting businesses, the community and the government in an effort to promote regional economic prosperity. A Chamber member will be honored each month as Member of the Month.
