Owner Zachary Bass invites the community to join the celebration and enjoy their breads, sweets and sandwiches and enter a raffle for gift baskets and other door prizes. The store is located at 17171 Bothell Way N.E.

During the weekend celebration, customers can try many of the Great Harvest offerings: a large variety of freshly baked whole grain breads and sweets, made-to-order sandwiches, local specialty dipping oils and balsamic vinegars, whipped honey and jams, and made from scratch mixes and spreads. There will be balloons and coloring activities for the kids, too.

“We are so excited to reopen the bakery doors,” said Bass. “We’ve missed our customers and it’s a great joy to again bake up a storm of whole grain breads and sweets made with fresh, healthy and simple ingredients. We hope everyone stops by for the celebration and a generous slice of something warm from the oven.”

The Lake Forest Park Great Harvest bakery offers a wide range of fresh baked breads including its legendary Honey Whole Wheat, High-5 Fiber and Dakota whole grain breads. Popular specialty breads such as Cinnamon Chip, Asiago Pesto and Cheddar Garlic are also on the menu.

Great Harvest’s sweets lineup includes Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Carrot Raisin Muffins, Lemon Blueberry Ginger Muffins, and Cinnamon Rolls. They are also serving a full sandwich lineup including the popular Louisville Chicken Salad and California Cobb sandwiches.

The renovated bakery will re-open with new flooring and ceiling, fresh paint, menu boards, point-of-sale systems, and a brighter look.

Bass encourages locals to stop in anytime for a free slice of hot-out-of-the oven bread or sweets.

“Our bakery is rooted in generosity and we thoroughly enjoy sharing our daily creations,” Bass said.

Great Harvest has more than 200 bakeries located throughout the nation including Alaska and Hawaii and was originally founded in 1976 in Great Falls, Mont.
