“Rough Cut: Saving Endangered Species Through Film,” a free, public presentation at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell will include a talk by author and filmmaker Rick Wood about sea otters and other marine mammals on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.

This will also act as the Washington premiere for the documentary “Deconstructing Eden.” A Q&A session will follow the film, and a book signing will follow the reading.

Books will be available for purchase at the venue.
