Ingelmoor students present The Crucible

This Halloween, the Inglemoor High School Drama Department will be hosting its adaptation of Arthur Miller’s classic play, The Crucible.

The Inglemoor High School Drama Department will be hosting its adaptation of Arthur Miller’s classic play, The Crucible.

The play will take place from 7-10 p.m. on Oct. 23, 24, 28, 29 and 31, along with a 2 p.m. show on Oct. 31 at the Si Siverson Little Theater at Inglemoor High School.

Acted by a cast of aspiring young students, The Crucible recounts the horrific events of the Salem Witch Trials. It all begins when the minister in the town of Salem, Massachusetts discovers a group of young girls dancing in the woods, which he views as an act of witchery, a crime punishable by death.

Desperate to save themselves from the hangman’s noose, the girls caught dancing in the woods begin to accuse others in the town of witchcraft and the situation spirals out of control.

It’s the perfect play for a scary Halloween night.

Tickets are $8 and $10.
