Molbak’s will sponsor a free play for the community while supporting local non-profits such as the Northshore YMCA.

This year’s play is the Hans Christian Andersen classic tale, The Princess and the Pea, produced, directed and adapted by B.J. Douglas and starring Daniel Goodman, Kenna Kettrick, Todd Stratton and Kate Witt. Elementary-aged children and adults alike will enjoy the delightful and comic story of the princess who must prove she is royalty in order to marry the prince of her dreams.

Performances are at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 13-14, 20-21, and 27-28 at Molbak’s in Woodinville.

Each performance is 45 minutes long. Seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis. ASL interpreters will sign the 4 p.m. performance on Oct. 28.

Although admission to the play is free, attendees are asked to consider donating canned food or other non-perishable items.

This year’s beneficiary is the Northshore YMCA’s Totes-to-Go program and the Northshore Community Kitchen. These programs help alleviate student hunger in the community.
