2017 proposed boundary adjustments information available online early February

Northshore School District’s Enrollment Demographics Task Force (EDTF) is developing a draft of the 2017 proposed boundary adjustments that will accompany the opening of North Creek High School and grade reconfiguration in the fall of 2017.

Northshore School District’s Enrollment Demographics Task Force (EDTF) is developing a draft of the 2017 proposed boundary adjustments that will accompany the opening of North Creek High School and grade reconfiguration in the fall of 2017.

The proposed boundary information will be posted on the district website, www.nsd.org, by early February.

Parents will be able to enter their address and their child’s grade level in 2017 to find out which school their child would attend. An online input form will be posted to provide feedback to the EDTF on the proposed boundaries.

The same information will be shared at five community open houses.

February 9:  6–8 p.m., Woodinville High School, 19819 136th Ave. NE, Woodinville
February 12:  6–8 p.m., Bothell High School, 9130 NE 180th St., Bothell
February 25:  6–8 p.m., Skyview Junior High, 21404 35th Ave. SE, Bothell
February 26:  6–8 p.m., Inglemoor High School, 15500 Simonds Rd. NE, Kenmore
March 2:  6–8 p.m., for Spanish speaking families, Woodmoor Elementary School, 12225 NE 160th St, Bothell

The EDTF will use the input for a draft proposal that will be submitted for school board review the spring 2015. The EDTF will gather additional community input during the 2015-16 school year and present a final 2017 boundary adjustment recommendation to the school board in spring 2016.

 

Implementation of the boundary adjustments will occur in the fall of 2017.
