Applications are now open for the second annual Schools of Excellence in Arts Education Awards. Presented by ArtsEd Washington, in partnership with the Association of Washington School Principals, all K-12 schools throughout Washington State are invited to apply. Deadline for completed applications is March 30.

Inspired by a program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Schools of Excellence in Arts Education Awards recognize schools in Washington state that include the arts as an essential part of their students’ education, providing a creative learning environment for outstanding student achievement through the development of exemplary arts education programs.
