John and Linda Filippi announce the engagement of their daughter, April, to Peter Tassani. April is a 2004 graduate of Inglemoor High and 2006 graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Tassani is a 2000 graduate of Bothell High and served four years in the United States Air Force in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is pursuing his degree in civil engineering. They met playing for their church softball team and will be married this August in Snohomish.
