The Seattle Professional Photographers Association has named Kerri Kirshner, owner of Bothell’s Acclaimed Photography, its photographer of the year for 2011.
Kirshner has been involved in photography for more than 20 years, and added special-needs children to her traditional portraiture of children, families and students shortly after completing the training and accreditation through Special Kids Photography of America.
James McNeal, 58, served eight years on the Bothell City Council. On Tuesday, he was arrested for investigation of murdering a 20-year-old woman.
