Hopelink report

A 37-year-old organization helping families, senior citizens and people with disabilities in east and north King County, Hopelink depends on volunteers to fulfill what it calls its mission of helping people make lasting change in their lives.

Hopelink continues to need new volunteers over the age of 16 and invites anyone interested to attend an orientation meeting from 10-11:30 a.m. Jan. 8 at Hopelink’s Bothell Center, 18220 96th Ave., N.E.

Little League

Northshore Little League (NSLL) is offering walk-in registration from 1-4:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Bothell Regional Library’s Meeting Room, 18215 98th Ave. N.E. The deadline to guarantee placement on a team and avoid additional registration fees is Jan. 15.

NSLL has seen a slight decrease in online registration due to the inability to accept credit-card payments since early December. This is when NSLL was alerted to financial problems with Count Me In Sports, Inc. (CMI), the company providing online registration. To date, NSLL has avoided liability with CMI, unlike other local area sports teams.

Registration for the upcoming baseball and softball programs is available online through www.northshorell.com, but payments must be made by mail (P.O. Box 1764 Bothell, WA 98041) or in person Jan. 10 for the registration to be complete.

For information, contact Kyle Netterfield at (206) 898-4928 or nsll_president@northshorell.com.
