Dollinger to present her artwork at Bothell gallery

Renate Dollinger of Bothell will hold an art opening for her show "Stories of Shetls" at 3 p.m. March 10 at Kaewyn Gallery at FrameWright (10101 Main St., Bothell). Her show will run throughout March.

Renate Dollinger of Bothell will hold an art opening for her show “Stories of Shetls” at 3 p.m. March 10 at Kaewyn Gallery at FrameWright (10101 Main St., Bothell). Her show will run throughout March.

Dollinger, 88, was born Rose Renate Sandberger in Breig, a mountain village in Silesia, Germany. She grew up there and in Breslau, fleeing to England on the Kinder-Transport.

She paints mainly in oil, but has also done a considerable amount of work in watercolor, gouache and hand-tinted etchings. She is represented in many private collections throughout the country.
