A man, 57, was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault after a collision north of Bothell Saturday evening.
He was suspected of driving while under the influence, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Bothell man was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe south on Highway 527. It was about 9:30 p.m. Meanwhile, an Everett woman, 49, was heading north in a Hyundai Santa Fe. She had just passed the intersection with Maltby Road.
The Bothell man didn’t yield to oncoming traffic, according to State Patrol. He turned left in front of the Hyundai. The vehicles collided.
The Everett woman was taken to a local hospital. A passenger in her car, a 69-year-old Everett man, was not hurt.
