Kathleen Ann Fitzsimmons of Bothell received her doctor of philosophy degree in nursing education last month from the University of Northern Colorado.

She was among about 775 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees at the fall 2009 graduation ceremonies Dec. 11-12.
