Forum focuses on adverse childhood experiences in Snohomish County

The Snohomish County Children's Commission, Snohomish County Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) and other community partners are presenting a forum on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on May 21 at the Imagine Children’s Museum.

The Snohomish County Children’s Commission, Snohomish County Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) and other community partners are presenting a forum on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on May 21 at the Imagine Children’s Museum.

The forum will provide information on how adverse childhood experiences impact families and children, what tools families have to overcome adversity, and how to build a positive future. Learn how ACEs can impact families and what changes promote hope and resiliency.

The forum will be 7-8:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to bring their children ages 3 to 12 to explore the Children’s Museum while parents attend the forum. Supervised childcare will be provided. The Imagine Children’s Museum is located at 1502 Wall Street in Everett.

The Children’s Commission advises the Snohomish County Executive Office and Human Services Department staff on matters related to the administration and enhancement of children’s programs. Snohomish County ECEAP is Washington state’s preschool program free to income-eligible families.
