Northshore Nourishing Network invites residents to learn about hunger in the community

Northshore Nourishing Network is inviting people to learn about hunger in the community from 6-8 p.m. on May 20 a the Bothell United Methodist Church.

Northshore Nourishing Network is inviting people to learn about hunger in the community from 6-8 p.m. on May 20 a the Bothell United Methodist Church.

The event will include a presentation by registered dietitian, Susie Fox, about links between hunger and obesity and how hunger can hurt children, families and communities.

The second part of the evening will address ways to help and connect with six community groups currently working to help feed hungry children and families in Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville and Kirkland.

Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for everyone to connect with Northshore Nourishing Network groups, learn more about what they are doing, and find out how to help.
