Jean Fowler presented Fred Hering with the Torchbearer’s Award at Tuesday’s Northshore Schools Foundation seventh annual benefit luncheon, “Light a Fire for Learning,” at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Over the years, Hering has been involved with Kiwanis, the Bothell Downtown Merchants Association, the Northshore Senior Center, the Nortshore Schools Foundation and more. Fowler took home the Torchbearer’s Award last year.
