The City of Kenmore will add a handful of new programs bringing youth sports camps to city parks this summer.

The City of Kenmore will add a handful of new programs bringing youth sports camps to city parks this summer.

Skyhawks Sports Camps, which offer team sports like soccer, flag football, basketball and baseball, have five oppportunities scheduled at Rhododendron Park.

The Tiny Hawk Camp is scheduled to run from June 27 to July 1, taking ages 3 1/2 to 5 years old. Skyhawks will offer soccer camp in two age groups, one from 4 to 6 years old and one from 6 to 12 years old, both running between June 27 and July 1.

The multisport Mini Hawk Camp, which accepts kids from 4 to 7 years old, is scheudled from July 25 through July 29. An older multisport camp, with campers between 6 and 12 years old, is scheduled for the same timeframe.

Kids will also have a chance to learn how to skate with Skate Like A Girl Skate Camps at Jack V. Crawford Skate Court in August. The camp is geared toward children between 5 and 12 years old, at at all ability levels. The two camps run between Aug. 15-19, and Aug. 22-26.
