Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Ketchup and urine found on workboots

Between March 14 and March 21, one theft (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with two assaults, two cases of vandalism, three burglaries, four cases of driving without a valid license and two cases of trespass.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.

March 14

A concrete wall was spray painted with “tags” in the 8000 block of Northeast 175th Street off the Burke-Gilman Trail.

A front door was pried open in the Emerald Villa apartments and items were stolen.

Someone was given a notice of trespass from O’Reilly’s Auto Parts.

 

March 15

An abandoned vehicle was give a 24-hour notice to move in the 20000 block of 61st Place Northeast.

A man was cited for driving without a valid license on Juanita Drive Northeast.

After being pulled over for speeding, a person was given a citation for driving with an invalid license.

A man was given a notice of trespass from Bastyr University due to stalking behavior involving his ex-fiance. Police said he was highly uncooperative and made multiple “Constitutionalist-like” comments.

 

March 16

Stolen Edmonds license plates were recovered.

Someone was cited with failing to transfer a title within 45 days.

Someone was arrested on fourth-degree assault charges in the 19700 block of 75th Avenue Northeast.

 

March 17

An unknown suspect broke into a house in the 8100 block of Northeast 166 Street and stole an empty wallet and a silver plate.

 

March 18

Ketchup and urine were found in a man’s work boots on his front porch at Inglewood Forest. The right boot also had it’s toe sliced open.

A bike was stolen from the Heron Landing apartments after the chain lock was cut.

 

March 19

Someone was cited for driving with a suspended vehicle registration and license.

 

March 20

Another person was cited for driving with a suspended license.

A man was found sleeping in a vehicle with headlights on at the Lighthouse Church. Police discovered he had a felony warrant from Oregon for possession of methamphetamine but the warrant was declined and the man was released.

A car was broken into in at the Trailwalk Condos.

Someone smashed the window of a car parked in the 6700 block of Northeast 175th Street and a purse was taken while the owner was walking the Burke-Gilman Trail.

 

March 21

A man was arrested on fourth-degree assault charges at the 73 Avenue Apartments.
