Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: March 7 through 14

Between March 7 and March 14, one theft (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with one DUI, one trespass, four instances of driving without a license, two burglaries, one case of illegal dumping and one case of obstructing an officer.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.

March 7

A man was cited for driving with a suspended license.

Someone was cited for failing to transfer a vehicle title.

A man was arrested on DUI charges and booked into SCORE Jail.

 

March 8

A woman was stopped while she was speeding and cited for driving with a suspended license.

A business owner reported illegal dumping into a large dumpster at his business.

Another person was cited for driving with a suspended license.

 

March 9

A cell phone was found at Kenmore City Hall.

After lying to officers a woman was arrested for an active Kenmore DUI warrant and a second degree charge of driving with a suspended license.

 

March 10

After blocking a private driveway in the 18700 block of 68th Avenue Northeast a vehicle was impounded.

 

March 11

Locks were pried off a storage shed at the Epiphany Lutheran Church.

Someone was arrested on at least one misdemeanor warrant.

 

March 12

A rock was thrown through the rear door of Ostroms Drug Store in an attempt to reach in and unlock the door, but the burglar was unable to unlatch the door.

A male suspected of doing drugs in the McDonalds bathroom caused a disturbance at the store.

 

March 13

A man barricaded himself in a garden shed at Inglemoor East Mobile homes after it was believed he was ‘squatting’ at the home formerly owned by his deceased father.

 

March 14

Someone was cited for driving with a suspended license.

Someone ordered nearly $250 worth of unknown items from someone’s PayPal account.
