The Northshore Senior Center and Foundation House at Bothell are sponsoring a Veterans Day luncheon beginning 11:30 a.m. Nov. 11 at Foundation House (17502 102nd Ave. N.E.).

The luncheon will include a discussion of how to better serve local veterans by improving outreach and services for those veterans.

Bothell Mayor Mark Lamb is expected to open the event, with King County Council Chairman Bob Ferguson giving an update on the county’s veteran and human services.

A free concert will follow from 2-3 p.m. at the Northshore Senior Center (10201 E. Riverside Drive, Bothell).
