Theft

Someone swiped the license plate from a car parked at a business in the 18000 block of State Route 527. No suspects were listed.

Oct. 18

Theft from vehicle

CDs and some personal item were stolen from a car parked in the 17000 block of State Route 522. The items were valued at $150. The victim said the car may have been left unlocked.

Theft

A man and a woman, age not given in police reports, were stopped after trying to leave an unidentified business in the 22000 block of SR 527 with $30 in groceries. The items were recovered, but no charges were filed.

Oct. 17

Residential burglary

The resident of a home in the 10000 block of Northeast 186th Street was awakened by the sound of breaking glass tumbling from a window in her home. The victim called police, who say they interrupted a female suspect, age not given, in the act of trying to break into the home. The suspect was arrested, charged with burglary.

Oct. 16

Vehicle theft

A 2005 green Ford F350 pick-up was stolen from an apartment complex in the 2000 block of 227th Street. Valued at $22,000, the truck later was recovered by Kent police. Local police say the truck’s ignition had been punched and there was damage done to the vehicle’s interior console.

Residential burglary

A camera, a laptop computer and a number of iPods were among the items stolen when someone broke into an apartment in the 12000 block of Northeast 187th Street. The items were valued at $3,400.

Residential burglary

Valued at $70, concert tickets disappeared from a home in the 11000 block of 174th Street. The victim said the home may been left open.

Commercial burglary

The suspects broke into an unnamed business in the 12000 block of Woodinville Drive and pried open a cash box, getting about $100 for their troubles. Police say they entered the business through a cracked window, then kicked in an interior door.

Vandalism

Someone smashed out the window of a car parked in the 6100 block of Northeast 187th Place. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Oct. 23

Theft from vehicle

Someone smashed out the window of a car parked in the lot of the Safeway store on Northeast Bothell Way. Police reports did not detail what was taken.

Theft

An unspecified number of bicycles were stolen from in front of Kenmore Lanes.

Commercial burglary

Persons unknown broke into a business in the 7500 block of Northeast 175th Street. Police said the suspects tried to break into safes inside the building, but apparently were unsuccessful.

Residential burglary

A video-game system, jewelry and a computer were among the items listed missing after thieves broke into a home in the 6600 block of Northeast 191st Street. The suspects entered the home by prying open a window.

Residential burglary

Police reports don’t mention what was taken after suspects broke into a home in the 19600 block of 65th Avenue Northeast. The suspects pried open a patio door to gain entry.

Oct. 15

DUI

Police reports said the suspect has a medical marijuana license, but, pending the results of some laboratory work, they may charge a driver with DUI after stopping that driver in the 17100 block of 68th Avenue Northeast. Reports said the suspect was smoking marijuana at the of the traffic stop and had roughly 602 grams of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle.
